Description
Paradise Township is soliciting bids for two separate electrical improvement contracts. Contract 1 covers a dual-port electric vehicle charging station, including conduit, electrical connections, a reinforced concrete pedestal base, cable management, Wi-Fi connectivity, charging authentication features, bollards, signage, pavement markings, and related circuit modifications and testing. Contract 2 covers replacement of baseball field lighting, including removal of existing high-intensity-discharge luminaires and overhead feed, installation and aiming of new LED sports-lighting heads, conduit installation by directional boring or trenching where permitted, branch-circuit modifications, and pole-cap replacement. The work includes all required equipment, materials, labor, supervision, testing, site restoration, erosion and sediment controls, and coordination with existing utilities. Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements apply. Bidders must submit pricing for all items in the selected Bid Form contract(s), and each proposal must include bid security equal to 10% of the total base bid. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, are required from the successful bidder; a maintenance bond is required at project completion.
