Description
Lancaster County is seeking qualified professional archival conservation, historic book restoration, preservation, and digitization firms to restore, preserve, and digitize approximately 15 Letter of Attorney deed book volumes dated 1811–1897. The historically significant volumes have torn and worn covers and must be returned to the courthouse fully preserved using professional archival and conservation methods, without compromising their historical, physical, evidentiary, or material integrity. The County intends to award a project-based agreement for a one-year base period with two one-year options. The solicitation is open and requests proposals from qualified firms.
