Description
Murray City is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering services for the design, bidding, and construction support of emergency backup power systems at three municipal culinary water wells. The project is funded in part through a federal EPA Community Grant and is subject to applicable federal requirements under 2 CFR Part 200, the Uniform Guidance. The selection process has two phases. Phase I consists of independent evaluation and scoring of the statements of qualifications, followed by committee discussion and identification of the three highest-ranked firms. Those firms will proceed to Phase II interviews and scoring; the Phase I and Phase II scores will be combined to determine the final ranking. If fewer than three qualified firms are available, the City will determine the next step under applicable City and federal requirements.
