Description
The San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority is soliciting an informal lump-sum bid for roof silicone seal coating at its Tracy Field Office. The contractor must remove and dispose of loose roof debris, pressure wash and dry the roof surfaces, apply clear acrylic primer, install PBR gel closures under vents, seal fasteners and gutter hangers with ASC-7 acrylic mastic or an equivalent, apply three-course seam treatment using polyester rolls and acrylic mastic, and apply white silicone roof coating at three gallons per 100 square feet. The work covers the Civil Maintenance Building, approximately 11,000 square feet, and the Paint Shop, approximately 7,728 square feet, for a combined estimated construction value of $100,000 to $150,000. The project is a California public works contract requiring a Class A or C-39 contractor license, prevailing-wage compliance, and California Department of Industrial Relations registration for the bidder and applicable subcontractors. The successful contractor must complete the work within 30 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. A bid security of at least 10% is required when the bid exceeds $25,000; payment and performance bonds of 100% of the contract price are required for a successful bid exceeding $25,000. The solicitation requires an Informal Bid Form, bid bond or other permitted bid security, and Subcontractor Listing Form with the bid; the construction agreement and payment and performance bonds are submitted after award.
