Mecklenburg County is soliciting single-prime, lump-sum construction bids from North Carolina-licensed roofing contractors for replacement of the roof at the Hal Marshall Center. Bids must be submitted on County-furnished standard forms, and the project requires bid, performance, payment, and materials bonds. Prime contractors must submit a written letter of interest to the County’s authorized design consultant at least 48 hours before bid opening to be placed on the official bidders list and receive potential addenda. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required, and contractors that do not complete the letter-of-interest process may be considered nonresponsive. Bid documents are available digitally at no cost from Terracon Consultants, Inc.
