Description
The City of Las Cruces is soliciting bids for the re-roofing of Mesilla Valley Community of Hope Building 5. The work includes removal and replacement of existing insulation, roof membrane, metal roofing, cover board, roof walk pads, roof hatch, skylights, roof drains, metal caps, gutters, and related flashing. The project specifies an 80-mil TPO roof system with rigid insulation, tapered insulation and cricketing, new drainage components, and associated roofing accessories. Additional work includes repairs to clerestory stucco and windows, installation of a new exterior insulation and finish system and weather barrier, replacement of damaged plywood sheathing and nailers, painting of exposed exterior gas piping, and coordination to keep the active facility operational during construction. Bids must include a subcontractor list, bid bond, proof of insurance, contractor licensing information, state labor registration information, and required preference certificates if applicable. The selected contractor must provide 100% payment and performance bonds and comply with prevailing-wage requirements.
