Description
Lincoln Electric System is seeking a contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials required to construct concrete foundations for the North Bluff Substation. The work includes drilled concrete piers and slabs supporting substation equipment, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, anchor-bolt installation, excavation, dewatering, fill and backfill, finish grading, testing, and related site work. The specifications require 4,000-psi concrete, reinforcing steel, concrete testing, and compliance with the associated foundation plans and geotechnical recommendations. The contractor must complete the foundations and demobilize by March 5, 2027. Bidders must submit unit pricing, confirm the completion date, identify exceptions, and complete the provided bid reply, proposal sheet, and Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form. The successful bidder must execute the LES construction contract and provide a certificate of insurance and separate performance and labor-and-material payment bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the contract price, before work begins.
