Description
Lincoln Electric System is requesting bids to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, and construction services necessary to install new Units 5 and 6 simple-cycle combustion turbine generator packages and associated balance-of-plant equipment in the south powerblock area of the Terry Bundy Generating Station. The solicitation includes the summary of work, issued-for-bid drawings, equipment arrangement plans, electrical one-line diagrams, instructions to bidders, a sample construction contract, and Appendix 02 instructions. The successful bidder must complete the LES Construction Contract, Bid Reply Signature Page, Bid Form—Construction Contract, Technical Bid Data Forms, Proposed Major Subcontractors and Suppliers form, and Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form; submit project schedule, quality plan, safety plan, field-service rates, project references and proposal submittals, and materials data sheets; and provide the required performance and labor-and-material payment bonds and insurance documentation. Insurance must be issued by a Nebraska-licensed insurer rated at least B+ by A.M. Best, name LES as an additional insured for general liability, and include a waiver of subrogation.
