Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs requires one fully integrated, operational, and safe mobile spray polyurethane foam application system for a veteran-furnished 8-by-20-foot trailer. The contractor must provide all additional equipment and materials, including a spray foam proportioner, transfer pump, spray gun, compressor, diesel generator, fuel tank, air dryer, respiratory protection system, scarfer, drum mixer, vacuum equipment, and related components. Brand-name-or-equal equipment is permitted when it meets the stated salient characteristics and integrates with the trailer's existing electrical, air, and other infrastructure. The scope includes design and layout, procurement, installation, wiring, mounting, plumbing, configuration, functional testing, commissioning if applicable, hands-on operator training, and an as-built documentation package. The contractor must ensure compliance with applicable safety, electrical, OSHA, chemical-handling, and manufacturer requirements, including safe ventilation, respiratory-protection staging, generator exhaust routing, fuel storage, and confined-space considerations. Total performance may not exceed 30 calendar days after delivery of the trailer to the contractor's installation site, which must be within 600 miles of Lincoln, Nebraska.
