Description
Strathcona County is seeking a supplier to provide and deliver Type GU concrete and cold-weather Type HE concrete to various locations within the county. Estimated annual quantities are 100 m³ of Type GU concrete and 10 m³ of Type HE concrete, although quantities are not guaranteed. Deliveries are anticipated between April 15 and October 1 each year, generally in 3–5 m³ loads, with smaller loads accommodated. The supplier must respond to delivery requests within 12 hours, provide 24-hour call-out availability during the annual delivery period, and fulfill deliveries within two hours of the requested delivery time. Concrete must meet or exceed Strathcona County Design and Construction Standards, and the supplier is responsible for concrete testing and reporting with each delivery. The opportunity is evaluated on pricing, experience and qualifications, similar services, demonstrated supply and fleet capacity, and project approach. The initial agreement term is one year with up to four additional one-year extensions. A valid and current Alberta COR or SECOR certificate is required with the submission.
