Description
The City of Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Public Building Commission are establishing a qualified contractor pool for as-needed tree pruning, tree removal, and stump removal services. Work may occur in rights-of-way, parks, golf courses, trails, other public spaces, and certain hazardous private-tree locations. Contractors must provide supervision, labor, tools, equipment, traffic-control devices, debris removal, and related services in accordance with applicable ANSI arboricultural and safety standards, Lincoln requirements, and state and federal law. Bidders must be active tree-service companies with appropriately trained personnel and equipment, including at least one ISA Certified Arborist or City of Lincoln First Class Arborist on each crew. The response requires a completed master-agreement quotation sheet, equipment information, personnel credentials, qualifications letter, references, applicable certifications, and required statutory certifications. The master agreement is effective for one year with four additional one-year renewal options. Individual project thresholds are $9,999, $25,000, or $50,000; performance and payment bonds are required for the higher applicable thresholds.
