Description
The State of Nebraska is seeking a qualified vendor to provide janitorial services at Lincoln Regional Center. The scope includes management, supervision, labor, cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies; routine cleaning and disinfecting of non-patient areas and staff/community bathrooms; replenishment of restroom supplies; interior window cleaning; and maintenance of a clean, presentable, and safe facility. Services are generally required Monday through Friday, with additional weekend, holiday, and on-call services as needed. The vendor must respond to on-call requests within two hours and comply with facility security, employee identification, background-check, safety, waste-management, and access-control requirements. The contract also includes semiannual carpet cleaning and hard-surface floor stripping, waxing, and refinishing, as well as optional services such as carpet extraction, additional floor care, emergency on-call work, and cleaning at additional facilities. Cleaning products must be EPA-approved, and bleach, ammonia, and aerosols are prohibited. Proposals must include a corporate overview, technical response, completed cost sheet, completed solicitation Sections II through IV, and a signed Contractual Agreement Form. Responses will be evaluated on corporate overview, technical response, and cost, with vendor demonstrations possible if required.
