Description
Lincoln Electric System is soliciting bids for twelve pad-mounted capacitor banks, each rated at 1,200 kVAR, 15 kV, 120 VAC control voltage, and built to LES specifications. The equipment is intended for outdoor installation on a 12.47-kV distribution system and must meet the stated enclosure, switching, capacitor, control, cable-compartment, safety-labeling, packaging, and applicable IEEE requirements. The manufacturer must have at least 10 years of experience manufacturing pad-mounted capacitor enclosures. Bidders must provide complete equipment specifications and descriptive information, state the delivery date and warranty or guarantee period, and submit required approval drawings before manufacture. Final as-built drawings and three operation and maintenance manuals are required upon delivery. The bid package also requires the bidder’s signature page and completed Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form.
