Description
Lincoln Electric System is soliciting a contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, chemicals, transportation, tools, trucks, and other equipment needed for vegetation management and line-clearance services on energized distribution circuits and transmission lines. The scope includes tree pruning, tree removal, brush removal and disposal, clearance around conductors and pole-mounted equipment, stump-treatment herbicide applications, customer notifications, reporting, site restoration, and emergency storm and outage response. The contractor must provide specified climbing, bucket, and backyard-lift crews, qualified arborists, licensed pesticide applicators, and the equipment necessary to perform the work safely and in accordance with applicable OSHA, ANSI, environmental, and utility requirements. The resulting contract is intended to be an hourly-rate contract covering January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with two additional one-year renewal options by mutual agreement. Bidders must complete the bid reply/signature page and schedule of prices, and the successful bidder must execute the LES construction contract, provide required insurance and performance and labor-and-material payment bonds, and return the Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Request Form.
