Description
Montgomery County is soliciting proposals for the renovation and restoration of the existing retention pond at Art Van Atta Park. The work includes mobilization and site preparation; temporary access and haul routes; clearing and grubbing; pond dewatering and water management; removal, handling, hauling, and off-site disposal of approximately 10,205 cubic yards of sediment and organic material; reconstruction and grading of the pond bottom, banks, and shoreline; drainage-swale and surface-water inlet improvements; pipe and outlet stabilization; erosion control; and restoration of disturbed areas. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, disposal, and related services. Proposals must describe the proposed dewatering, dredging, sediment handling, access, disposal, grading, drainage, erosion-control, inlet stabilization, equipment, schedule, safety, and site-protection approaches. Pricing must include a lump-sum base renovation price, a unit price per cubic yard for quantity changes, and a lump-sum price for gabion-type or equivalent inlet stabilization work. The electronic submission also requires proposer information, a table of organization/personnel, a full proposal, Form 3, Form 4, and responses to the required certifications and acknowledgments.
