Description
The Town of Cary is soliciting proposals for comprehensive control-system improvements at the Swift Creek Pump Station. The selected integrator must verify existing systems; design, furnish, and install replacement PLC hardware; program redundant Allen-Bradley controllers; configure a local HMI; integrate VFDs, instrumentation, switchgear, generator/ATS equipment, and other field devices; and upgrade the AVEVA System Platform applications, including a read-only Tier 2 solution. The scope includes control-panel fabrication, staged migration, cybersecurity and communications design, testing, startup, commissioning, training, calibration, documentation, source-code delivery, and ongoing warranty support. Proposers must provide a sequence-of-operations narrative, project approach and schedule, staffing and qualifications, cost proposal, and references for three similar PLC replacement projects performed within the past five years. The contract has an initial one-year term with up to two additional one-year renewal terms.
