Description

The County of Orange, through the Orange County Sheriff's Department Research and Development/Facilities Planning Unit, is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide on-call architect/engineer services for capital improvement, rehabilitation, tenant improvement, major maintenance, and miscellaneous projects at Sheriff's Department facilities. The scope may include planning, architecture, landscape architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, geotechnical, surveying, utility coordination, environmental documentation, regulatory permits, plans and specifications, cost estimating, construction management, bidding support, construction support, and post-construction services. The County anticipates establishing a ranked slate for task-order assignments and may make multiple awards. The usage contract has a three-year term and a maximum allowable compensation of $1,500,000, with no guaranteed amount of work. Respondents must submit a concise Statement of Qualifications addressing technical expertise, key personnel and references, project approach, cost and schedule controls, staffing availability, and additional relevant information. The response is limited to 50 pages, with a PDF statement and a Word version of Part 4 required; the completed Architect-Engineer Questionnaire and campaign contribution disclosure form are required submission items, while the W-9 is due only after selection if requested.
