Description
The Texas State University System, on behalf of Texas State University, is soliciting statements of qualifications from architect/engineer firms for the design of a two-story, approximately 20,000-gross-square-foot Student Health Center expansion. The project includes a new building entry and lobby, renovations to the existing pharmacy, site utility relocation, a new pick-up/drop-off drive, parking, landscaping, signage, and coordination with the occupied existing facility. The selected design consultant will provide architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, fire-protection, audiovisual/IT/security, landscape, irrigation, signage, furniture-layout, project-cost-estimating, BIM, and construction-administration services. The total construction cost limitation is $15,000,000. Respondents must submit qualifications addressing firm capability, project-team experience, relevant past projects, best practices, problem-solving, and execution of the required offer documents; pricing is not evaluated at this stage. A Vet HUB Subcontracting Plan is also required as a separate part of the submission.
