Description
The City of Carson is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call, as-needed enterprise GIS, Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, systems integration, and related professional and technical consulting services. The scope includes administration and enhancement of an ArcGIS Enterprise environment hosted in AWS; cloud infrastructure monitoring, optimization, upgrades, security, backup, disaster recovery, and technical support; integration with permitting, asset management, 311, ERP, public safety, document management, and other systems; GIS data management, automation, Python scripting, analytics, dashboards, maps, and reports; and strategic GIS architecture, modernization, governance, and technology advisory services. The consultant will also support GIS planning and readiness for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The anticipated contract term is five years. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, including enterprise GIS consulting for public-sector clients, ArcGIS Enterprise environments hosted in AWS or comparable cloud environments, and on-call technical services. Proposals are limited to 20 pages, excluding the cost file and required general attachments, and must include the requested qualifications, team, understanding, approach and work plan, subcontractor information if applicable, cost proposal, and required forms and certifications. The City requires electronic submission through PlanetBids, including both the completed Exhibit C Cost File and pricing entered into the portal.
