Description
Beaufort County is seeking statements of qualifications from consulting firms to provide on-call architectural, engineering, planning, design, and related professional services for county capital improvement projects. Services may include planning and programming, feasibility studies, existing-condition assessments, architectural and multidisciplinary engineering design, construction documents, permitting assistance, cost estimating, value engineering, bidding and procurement assistance, construction administration and observation, project closeout, accessibility improvements, energy-efficiency improvements, demolition, redevelopment, and other specialized services. The County anticipates selecting qualified firms for an indefinite-delivery, task-order contract. Assignments will be authorized individually, with each task order establishing the scope, schedule, deliverables, staffing, and compensation. The initial term is one year, with one-year renewal options for a total term not to exceed three years. Each selected consultant may receive up to $200,000 in task orders per contract year, but no minimum work or task orders are guaranteed. Respondents must submit a qualification statement addressing firm qualifications, relevant project experience and past performance, key personnel, capacity and availability, references, and related information.
