Description
Columbia College Chicago is seeking qualifications from an architectural and engineering services provider for a full-floor gut renovation of approximately 21,520 square feet on the fourth floor of 33 E. Ida B. Wells Drive. The estimated construction budget is approximately $8.0 million, inclusive of furniture, furnishings, and equipment and exclusive of professional services and other soft costs. The selected firm will provide programming, feasibility studies, stakeholder engagement, schematic design, design development, cost estimating, construction documents and specifications, bidding and permit assistance, construction administration, construction observation, and closeout services. The team must include architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire protection, technology/low-voltage, audiovisual, graphic/signage, and cost-estimating capabilities, along with any additional specialty consultants needed. Responses are evaluated through a qualification-based selection process; price information is not requested or considered.
