Description
Chabot-Las Positas Community College District is soliciting a commissioning agent for a new approximately 65,000-square-foot, three-story College Center at Chabot College. The project includes conference, event, recreational, student-support, food-service, wellness, office, and lounge spaces, along with demolition of an existing building. The selected consultant will provide comprehensive commissioning services to support Title 24 compliance and the project's targeted LEED Silver certification. The scope includes development and review of the Owner's Project Requirements and Basis of Design; design reviews; commissioning specifications and plans; construction-phase site visits; submittal and startup reviews; checklists; functional-performance testing; trend-data review; deficiency tracking; testing-and-balancing review; operations-and-maintenance manual review; staff training; final commissioning reporting; seasonal and deferred testing; and an 11th-month warranty-period operational review. Systems may include lighting and controls, renewable-energy systems, electrical distribution and metering, HVAC, domestic hot water, building automation, plumbing, water reuse, irrigation, data logging, and the building envelope.
