Description
The City of Fort Collins is soliciting complete seed mixes for three Fall 2026 natural-area projects: an Alkaline Mix for 77 acres, a BRIN Treatment mix for 58 acres, and a Diversity Mix for 10 acres. Bidders must price each mix as a complete blend, including the specified forb and grass species and quantities, with acceptable substitutions identified in the bid documents. Forbs and grasses may not be separated when pricing the mixes. The bid schedule requires vendors to provide proposed composition, price per pound, and total pricing. Seed deliveries must meet third-party noxious-weed, species-confirmation, and viability testing requirements. Delivery is required within two weeks after receipt of the City's purchase order, and the vendor is responsible for freight, applicable licenses, permits, and compliance with stated quality and regulatory requirements. The bid package includes a completed Bid Schedule and Acknowledgement form; bids must be signed by an authorized representative and submitted electronically through the specified purchasing system.
