Description
Larimer County is soliciting bids for three fully operational, custom slide-in water tanks to fit its Crysteel 16-foot asphalt dump-body trucks. Each tank must have a minimum capacity of 3,500 gallons, be constructed from at least 3/16-inch ASTM A-36 steel, include corrosion-resistant interior lining, powder-coated exterior, baffles, access manhole, ladder, standpipe, fill and drain fittings, sight gauge, lifting eyes, skid rails, and a protective rear bumper. The tanks must be interchangeable among the County's trucks and carry a minimum five-year workmanship and materials warranty. The assemblies must include a specified Berkeley B3ZRMS water pump, Bertolini UTD 6204 spray heads, spray bars, and a Force America M230A808WOFC10-36 hydraulic pump, with no substitutions for the specified pump equipment. The awarded vendor will furnish all labor and materials, install the tanks at its shop, coordinate mounting and equipment details with the County, and provide lead times for each installation. Only the completed Bid Form is required for submission through the electronic procurement portal.
