Description
The Colorado Department of Transportation is requesting a quote for professional traffic sign installation, removal, modification, traffic control, and site restoration along the SH 7A corridor from milepost 0.00 through 33.08. The work includes 78 new sign-post-and-base installations, 34 sign swaps, removal and backfilling of 63 obsolete post/base locations, and installation of 156 Class I and II sign panels. The contractor must provide specified Schedule 80 brown posts, non-posi slip bases, concrete, mounting hardware, mobilization, traffic control, and travel-related costs. Work must comply with the 11th Edition Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, CDOT Manual of Standard Plans, and the applicable Allowable Traffic Control Schedule. Required deliverables include weekly progress reports, an execution and traffic-control schedule, site-restoration documentation, and signed and dated electronic as-built strip maps. The anticipated purchase-order term is 60 days after the signs are received. The quote must include relevant project references, key-personnel resumes, traffic-control certifications, MUTCD compliance verification, safety records, execution plans, pricing, and any proposed subcontractor information.
