Description
The City of Fort Collins is soliciting bids from qualified service providers for on-call snow and ice removal during the 2026–2027 season. Work may include clearing city streets, parking lots, sidewalks, trails, underpasses, alleys, and other designated facilities, along with hauling snow, applying pet-friendly non-calcium ice melt, and providing labor and operators for City-owned equipment. The City may use multiple providers and will assign work based on price, availability, responsiveness, performance, equipment, and suitability. No minimum amount of work or hours is guaranteed. Bidders must identify available equipment and hourly rates, including trucks, loaders, graders, tractors, skid steers, ATVs, pickup plows, hand-removal labor, snow blowers, ice melt, arrow boards, support trucks, and qualified operators. Providers must be available 24/7/365 and respond within two hours of a call, with work generally completed within 24 hours after snowfall ends. Required bid materials include the completed bid schedule, applicable insurance documentation, driver and testing-program evidence where applicable, and a signed Services Agreement. The agreement term is October 12, 2026, through October 11, 2027.
