Description
Larimer County is soliciting bids for Project No. 355 to remove approximately 200 linear feet of existing guardrail and install approximately 699 linear feet of corrosion-resistant steel W-beam guardrail, 2,206 linear feet of corrosion-resistant steel thrie-beam guardrail, transitions, end anchorages, mobilization, potholing, flagging, construction traffic control, traffic control inspection and management, and minor contract revisions. Work will be performed at three locations along County Road 69 and County Road 74E near the CR 68C Reservoir, McNey Hill, and Dowdy Lake. The project includes seven-foot and nine-foot posts, synthetic blocks, stained terminal components, environmental controls, utility coordination, and compliance with Colorado Department of Transportation construction specifications, federal-aid provisions, Davis-Bacon requirements, and Buy America requirements. Bidders must be experienced highway contractors with experience in highway construction and use of Colorado Department of Transportation specifications. The bid must include the County-provided Bid Form, a five-percent bid bond, CDOT Form 606 Anti-Collusion Affidavit, Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment Certification, Certificate of Intent to Sublet, and completed Bid Schedule. The Bid Schedule must be submitted both within a single PDF file containing the bid package and as a separate Excel file. Payment and performance bonds, insurance certificates, and other contract-execution documents are required after award and before work begins.
