Weld County seeks a contractor to provide unarmed security screening and access-control services at the Court Complex, North Jail Complex, and Justice Services Marlborough Building in Greeley, Colorado. The scope includes staffing courthouse access points, screening people and belongings with county-owned archway and handheld magnetometers and x-ray cabinet machines, operating a jail lobby checkpoint, conducting perimeter and parking-lot checks, screening calls, assisting with inmate movement and emergencies, and supporting security at the Justice Services facility. The contractor must provide uniforms, radio earpieces, supervision, staffing coverage, training, reporting, and written operating procedures. Minimum qualifications include at least three continuous years of courthouse security-screening experience, at least one current contract with a similarly sized jurisdiction, the ability to transition to full operation by January 1, 2027, legal authority to operate in Colorado, and compliance with applicable licensing and Colorado Bureau of Investigation Vendor Management Program/CJIS requirements. Proposals must include a response addressing the evaluation criteria, the completed Proposal Response Form, pricing, addenda acknowledgments if applicable, and other requested materials. The response is limited to 75 pages, excluding specified covers, dividers, and mandatory proposal forms. The initial contract term is three years, with annual renewals available through December 31, 2031.
