Description
The Florida Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for a two-year contract to purchase grass seed, including Argentina Bahia, Pensacola Bahia, brown top millet, common Bermuda, and annual rye. Bids must provide pricing for 50-pound bags and bulk purchases of 500 pounds, with prices covering pickup and delivery to designated warehouses across seven Florida districts. The contract may be used for statewide deliveries, and the estimated purchasing volume is approximately $120,000 per year. Products must meet specified purity and germination standards, be packaged in 50-pound bags, and include an independent laboratory seed analysis for each species and lot number with every shipment.
