Description
Kinston Metropolitan District No. 1 is soliciting sealed bids for the Kinston Millennium East 19th Phase 2 Utilities Improvement Project. The work generally includes concrete flatwork, asphalt paving, signage and striping, removal and replacement, erosion control, and related incidental work required for completion and acceptance by the district and the City of Loveland. The project is anticipated to begin March 1, 2027, with substantial completion by August 1, 2027. A bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required, and the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds from a qualified surety. Bidders must provide a qualification statement addressing present commitments, past performance, comparable experience, available equipment, and key personnel resumes, along with a proposed subcontractor and supplier list. Contractors must self-perform at least 60% of the work. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, as determined by the district.
