The U.S. Department of Labor intends to award a firm-fixed-price construction contract for phased replacement of siding on Buildings A through G at the New Hampshire Job Corps Center. The work covers approximately 58,000 square feet of existing wood siding and requires installation of a new fiber cement plank siding system. The scope includes surface preparation, underlayment and building wrap, sheathing repair or replacement as needed, removal and reinstallation of exterior fixtures and devices, and related construction work. The period of performance is 435 calendar days from notice to proceed to substantial completion, followed by final acceptance 30 calendar days after substantial completion or a longer period authorized by the contracting officer.
