Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business contractor to provide a turnkey interior wayfinding signage project at the Manchester VA Medical Center. The scope includes programming, site review, wayfinding-system design, sign-location plans, conceptual designs and 3D renderings, fabrication, removal and disposal of existing signage, wall preparation and repair, and installation throughout the approximately 290,000-square-foot, seven-story main hospital building. The priced schedule includes 50 sub-directory/directional signs, 50 stair-identification signs, 50 overhead double-faced department-name signs, 32 overhead double-faced restroom signs, 50 waiting-room/exit directional signs, and one lot of programming services. Signage must comply with ADA/ABA requirements, including tactile and Braille features for stair and restroom signs, contrast and letter-height requirements, antimicrobial finishes, and fire-rated materials where needed. Quotations must include concept designs and 3D renderings, a five-year warranty, separately priced sign types, and the required representations, certifications, and limitations-on-subcontracting certification. Physical samples, the detailed installation plan, crew certifications, and post-installation walkthrough and training are post-award deliverables. The project must be completed within 24 weeks, or six months, after award.
