Description
Rockingham County seeks legal services for civil matters for a two-year term with an option to extend for one additional year. The scope includes statutory construction and interpretation; contract drafting, review, and negotiation; real estate transactions; eminent domain; financing and bonding; bankruptcy and creditors' rights; representation in state and federal courts; administrative agency practice; and defense of County agencies, officers, and employees. Additional services include regulatory compliance, labor relations and employment law, human resources and personnel support, County-wide contract and procurement agreement review, and risk management and claims response. Proposals must address the attorney's and firm's experience and past performance, qualifications and key personnel, hourly fee structure, organizational capacity and management approach, and any additional information demonstrating suitability.
