Description
The Community College System of New Hampshire is soliciting a contractor to provide snow removal services for Manchester Community College. The scope includes all campus parking lots, paved roadways, walkways, exterior doors, and emergency access roads; the north-corner dirt road is excluded. Bidders are encouraged to visit the campus independently because no site tours are being offered and the college does not have a comprehensive list of shoveling areas. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and de-icing materials, including concrete-safe salt for walkways and entryways, and must perform post-storm cleanup and snowbank reduction when needed. Snow must be cleared before 6:00 a.m. and maintained as needed, with 24-hour on-call service and a two-hour response time for authorized requests. The six-month contract runs from October 15, 2026, through April 15, 2027, with two additional extension terms available. Proposals are evaluated on total cost, equipment plan, de-icing materials plan, and company experience and references. Required submission items are the completed Exhibits A, B, and C, a W-9, a certificate of insurance, and acknowledgment of Addendum 1.
