GoTriangle, the Research Triangle Regional Public Transportation Authority serving Durham, Orange, and Wake counties in North Carolina, is soliciting proposals from qualified financial institutions to provide comprehensive banking services. The mandatory core services include consolidation of all financial operations to one bank, account configuration with zero-balance sub-accounts, interest-bearing accounts, deposit processing with same-day credit, remote deposit capture, online banking with positive pay and fraud controls, wholesale lockbox service, comprehensive reporting and statements, fraud prevention and risk mitigation, implementation and customer support, business continuity and disaster recovery, and information security. Optional services include a purchasing card (P-Card) program, check validation services, and armored transport services. The selected institution must meet minimum qualifications including FDIC insurance, compliance with North Carolina state regulations, physical presence within 15 miles of GoTriangle's Plaza location in Durham, and robust fraud prevention capabilities.
