Description
The University of Southern Mississippi is soliciting a single bank service provider for comprehensive banking services. The scope includes interest-bearing demand deposit accounts, monthly statements and reconciliation files, electronic deposit and wire notifications, local depository services, online banking, domestic and international wire transfers, Positive Pay, returned-item processing, account analysis, direct deposit and ACH processing, remote deposit capture, fraud prevention and cybersecurity, business continuity and disaster recovery, night depository access, coin and cash supplies, deposit slips, bank checks, and international check collection. The selected provider must be a Mississippi State Treasurer-designated Qualified State Depository, maintain required public-funds protections, provide customer support and transition assistance, and support the University's banking operations across Hattiesburg, Long Beach, and Ocean Springs. Proposals must address service and operational narratives, relevant higher-education or governmental clients and references, pricing schedules, proposed agreement terms, implementation, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and ACH-processing capabilities. The contract term is five years, from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2031.
