Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to issue an official RFQ for courier services supporting Sterile Processing Services within the VA Northern California Health Care System. The contractor will transport contaminated medical instruments and equipment used in reusable medical equipment reprocessing from designated system sites to designated sterile processing locations. This is planned as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside under NAICS 492110, with a base year and four one-year option periods. The presolicitation notice is not requesting a response; quote-submission instructions will be provided in the official RFQ. Contractors must be registered in SAM and verified through the Small Business Administration's certification system.
