Description
Gwinnett County is soliciting sealed bids for armored courier services for the Department of Financial Services Treasury Division. The selected provider will collect cash, coin, and checks from approximately 39 county locations, deliver deposits to designated financial institutions by required cutoff times, and deliver change funds from financial institutions to county departments. Services cover secured and non-secured facilities, scheduled and as-needed pickups, missed-pickup recovery, proof of delivery, deposit transmittal logbooks, monthly invoicing, and operational reporting. The provider must furnish armed and uniformed personnel where permitted, licensed, bonded, trained, and experienced staff; armored vehicles; sufficient staffing and contingency plans; full insurance for county deposits; a secure online case-management and reporting portal; customer support; and transition, relationship-management, and annual review services. Bidders must submit the county bid schedule, service-provider questionnaire, three similar-project references, Code of Ethics Affidavit, and Contractor Affidavit and Agreement. The contract is to begin January 1, 2027, or upon Board of Commissioners approval, with an initial term and four additional 12-month renewal periods; pricing must remain firm during the initial term.
