Description
Louisville Metro Government is soliciting proposals for daily courier services covering pickup and delivery of interoffice mail, metered USPS mail, and pre-stamped USPS mail from various Metro agencies. The contractor must collect and sort mail at designated stops, deliver interoffice mail by the next business day, and deliver USPS mail to the designated processing vendor by 3:00 p.m. on the pickup day so it can be postmarked the same day. The scope includes scheduled weekday service, as-needed emergency pickups and deliveries, stop verification and reconciliation records, secure handling of mail, and coordination with Facilities Management regarding schedules and location changes. Contractors must provide required personnel, equipment, uniforms or identification, background checks, and applicable CJIS training and screening for personnel entering designated restricted locations. Proposals are evaluated on price and qualifications/experience, and must include the required portal forms, price sheet, experience response, cybersecurity documentation, Human Relations Commission documentation, and certifications.
