Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, anticipates a competitive procurement for comprehensive medical courier services supporting the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics, and other Government-designated locations. The contractor must provide all personnel, vehicles, equipment, supervision, and resources needed for scheduled, supplemental, on-demand, and 24-hour, seven-day-per-week STAT/emergency courier operations. The scope includes pickup, transportation, and delivery of laboratory specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical records, medical supplies, interoffice mail, and other authorized Government materials. The anticipated award is a single, firm-fixed-price requirements contract with a three-year ordering period, set aside 100% for SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. This is a presolicitation notice; proposals are not currently being requested, and the solicitation package is expected to be issued in early to mid-November 2026.
