Description
Riverbay Corporation is seeking a contractor to distribute the Co-op City Times every Saturday by 2:00 p.m. Distribution includes placing newspapers in bins in each high-rise building lobby, delivering folded copies through the mail slots of 472 townhouse units across seven clusters, and stocking bins at three community centers. Extra bundles must be placed in the designated newspaper office, and newspapers must be protected from rain and snow. The contractor must maintain orderly placement, remove plastic straps, avoid leaving papers on floors or outside townhouse doors, and provide a staffed telephone number for Saturday delivery complaints. Pricing is requested per thousand newspapers per week. The proposal must include the Bid Form, Appendix B, a methodology and schedule, company qualifications, similar-project experience, resumes or CVs for assigned personnel, five client references, proposed subcontractor information, and an on-site safety plan. Insurance is required before performance, including workers' compensation, automobile liability, commercial general liability, and a $5 million umbrella policy.
