Orleans Central Supervisory Union is soliciting proposals from financial institutions to provide tax anticipation borrowing for Lake Region Union Elementary Middle School and Lake Region Union High School for the FY 2026/2027 school year. The borrowing needs are $3,714,877 for the elementary/middle school and $2,097,364 for the high school, representing the cumulative cash flow deficits the schools anticipate. The notes will mature and be paid on or before June 30, 2027. The solicitation includes two options: a non-arbitrage note with an interest rate of 3.49% per annum and an investment rate of 3.89%, or a line of credit with a rate of 5.05% and a maximum term of 12 months. The selected bank must be able to provide the necessary financing and meet the requirements outlined in the proposal.
