Description
The City of Hialeah is soliciting quotations from qualified contractors for roof replacement and rain-gutter installation at a single-family residence under its Homeowner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program. The work includes removal and replacement of approximately 1,439 square feet of clay tile gable roofing and 398 square feet of three-ply built-up roofing, roof plans and shop drawings, Notices of Acceptance, permits, ventilation, flashing, underlayment, fasteners, structural repairs, replacement of deteriorated plywood, fascia and soffit, painting, sealing, debris removal, site protection, inspections, and manufacturer and workmanship warranties. Contractors must comply with applicable Florida Building and Roofing Codes and address asbestos-related requirements identified in the property survey. The contractor must also provide a code-compliant seamless aluminum gutter and downspout system, including removal of existing components where applicable, proper drainage, testing, cleanup, and protection of adjacent property. The contractor is responsible for permits, any required architectural or engineering services, subcontractor disclosures, licensing, insurance documentation, and completion within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation requires two similar project references and proof of two substantially similar completed contracts within the last five years.
