Description
Miami-Dade County is soliciting a standard hourly price quotation for as-needed maintenance and emergency repair services for swimming pools, spas, and splashpads at multiple county park facilities north of Northwest 12th Street to the county line. The scope includes heaters, filters and sand replacement, pumps and motors, propane and chemical distribution systems, low-voltage substrate lighting, plastering and stuccoing, tile replacement, plumbing and piping, drains, gutters, skimmers, inlets, aerators, blowers, and splashpad water structures. The contractor must obtain and submit all required permits before performing work and must hold one of the listed applicable licenses, including General Building Contractor, Swimming Pool Contractor, or Master Plumber. The estimated value is $190,000, excluding contingencies and dedicated allowances. The contract is a single-trade contract with a 365-calendar-day completion period and an anticipated start date of December 30, 2026. The lowest responsible bidder will be selected. Insurance is required, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability. Performance, payment, and bid bonds are not required; liquidated damages are $250 per day.
