Description
The City of Detroit is soliciting proposals for property assessment, board-up, trash-out, clean-out, junk removal, debris removal and disposal, board removal, clear or plywood boarding, entry-door construction, hasp and padlock installation, property maintenance, janitorial and deep-cleaning services, roof tarping, basement pump-outs, tire and vehicle removal, and dead-animal removal and disposal. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis at multiple vacant or blighted residential properties and must include required before-and-after photographs and work-order documentation. The contract term is two years, with the possibility of one or multiple awards. Respondents must demonstrate at least three years of similar experience and submit organizational experience, staffing and capacity information, a technical approach, pricing by service type, required affidavits and forms, and agreement to the model professional services contract. Work orders generally require completion within five business days, expedited work within three business days, and emergency requests within 24 hours. A 100% payment and performance bond is required under the solicitation, and the model contract specifies insurance requirements.
