Description
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is seeking a contractor for a two-year indefinite-quantity Job Order Contract covering as-needed construction projects in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Alameda Counties. The maximum contract amount is $5,000,000, and work will be issued through task orders using preset unit prices and a bidder-proposed adjustment factor. Potential work includes concrete, construction traffic control, drilling, earthwork and paving, electrical work, general engineering construction, hazardous waste and remediation, landscaping, pipeline work, security systems integration, programmable logic controller systems integration, remote pipe inspection, tree service, well drilling, and well pump repair. A California Class A contractor's license is required. The prime bidder must have completed at least three public works projects within the past 10 years, each with a minimum construction value of $1,500,000. The solicitation also requires 18% participation by CMD-certified San Francisco Micro and/or Small-LBEs, with documented good-faith efforts required unless the bidder exceeds the requirement by at least 35%.
