Description
This firm-fixed-price, sealed-bid construction project includes a base schedule and Option Z. The base work includes removing and salvaging the existing North Fork Campbell Creek bridge, installing an approximately 80-foot prefabricated steel pedestrian bridge, constructing a 61-foot boardwalk, and realigning the North Gasline Trail. Option Z adds a 51-foot boardwalk and associated trail realignment. Both schedules must be priced; the apparent low bidder will be determined using the combined base and option totals, while the base schedule is awarded upon contract execution and the option may be exercised separately. Additional work includes excavation and embankment, aggregate placement, geotextile, gabions, concrete and reinforcing steel, treated timber and decking, helical piles, a culvert, erosion and sediment controls, temporary traffic control, turf establishment, and related construction quality control, testing, surveying, and scheduling. The estimated project price range is $700,000 to $2,000,000. The solicitation is full and open with a HUBZone price evaluation preference. A bid guarantee of 20% of the total bid amount, or $3 million, whichever is less, is required. The fixed completion dates are August 10, 2027, for the base schedule and September 1, 2027, if Option Z is exercised.
