Description
Barrington Public Schools is seeking a qualified contractor to provide before- and after-school programming services for students at four elementary schools. The program will operate from school dismissal until 6:00 PM and include academic support, enrichment activities, STEM exploration, literacy and math engagement, social-emotional learning, physical activity, and student choice. The contractor will be responsible for staffing, licensing, compliance, and family communication. The program must be DHS-licensed and comply with all applicable Rhode Island regulations. The contractor will provide all necessary materials and equipment, and will offer a revenue share of 10% with a guaranteed monthly minimum of $1,000. Tuition rates are proposed for after-school and break programs, with discounts for district employees, military families, and those eligible for free/reduced lunch. The contract is expected to start in May 2026.
