Description
The Office for Victims of Crime, within the U.S. Department of Justice, is offering grants to replicate or scale prevention and early-intervention programs for girls and young women up to and including age 25 who are at risk of, or are victims of, sex and/or labor trafficking. Proposed programs may include prevention education, awareness, risk reduction, resilience building, street outreach, identification and referral, comprehensive victim services, partnerships with youth-serving organizations, and collaboration with juvenile justice, child welfare, and community stakeholders. Applicants should be prepared to serve survivors of both sex and labor trafficking and participate in peer-to-peer learning. The opportunity anticipates approximately seven awards, with total funding of $3,511,939 and individual awards of up to $500,000. The expected award period is 36 months beginning January 1, 2027. Applications must include a proposal abstract, proposal narrative, budget, required federal forms and assurances, and applicable partner, personnel, timeline, and financial documentation. The proposal narrative is limited to eight pages and must address need, goals and objectives, project design and implementation, and organizational capabilities and competencies.
