Description
The Hawaiʻi Department of Human Services, Office of Youth Services, is conducting a Request for Information to inform the development of a future Request for Proposals for community-based outreach and advocacy services. The anticipated services would engage hard-to-reach and vulnerable youth and families; conduct intake, needs assessments, and individualized service planning; provide advocacy, resource navigation, education, prevention, positive youth development, and diversion support; and coordinate with schools, juvenile justice entities, and other public and private youth-serving organizations. Potential services may also include monitoring youth progress, crisis response and stabilization, identifying temporary safe placements, and transportation to support participation in services. Participation is optional and does not create an obligation to respond to any subsequent procurement. Written information and feedback are requested, and a virtual feedback meeting is scheduled as part of the RFI process.
